A longtime favorite in downtown Cedarburg, The Stilt House is a gastropub with a unique history—originally raised onto stilts in the early 1900s to add a first floor beneath the existing structure. 

Nagel’s renovation enhances this storied building with a second-floor renovation and dining room expansion. The design balances contemporary refinement with historic charm, featuring clean, modern details that complement the building’s character. Thoughtfully executed, the project expands capacity while preserving the restaurant’s distinctive place in the community.
